Turing's Path Forward: Continuing Through 2025
At the end of 2024, we faced one of the toughest moments in Turing's history. We were honest with our alumni and community about the challenges we were up against—including enrollment struggles and financial hurdles. It sparked a wave of passionate discussions, and while we didn't have all the answers then, we've been working hard to find solutions.
January 17, 2025, was our "Go/No-Go" decision date, and thanks to the incredible support from our community, we're thrilled to say: Turing is moving forward!
Why We’re Optimistic About the Future
A few key wins helped us make this decision:
- Improving Job Market – Hiring trends are looking more promising, and our graduates are landing strong roles.
- Employment Partnerships – New collaborations are opening doors for students and alumni.
- Recruitment Efforts – We’ve built new partnerships that are helping bring in students, though there’s still work to do.
- Alumni Support – Our incredible alumni raised funds that made a real impact.
- Funding Progress – We secured a new partnership that’s pushing us closer to Title IV approval (Federal Student Loans, Pell Grants, etc.).
- Updated Curriculum Success – Our first grads from the revised curriculum are showing strong outcomes.
- Enhanced Career Support – We’re offering new job-seeker coaching, networking opportunities, and employer outreach efforts.
Put simply, we still have a long way to go, but we believe in the opportunities ahead—and we’re ready to fight for them.
The Bigger Picture
The past few years have been tough for the entire tech industry, and the reality is that no career path is a sure thing anymore—not a CS degree, not an MBA, not law school. But opportunity still exists for those willing to learn, adapt, and hustle.
That’s why Turing is doubling down on career coaching, employer relationships, and student support—because we know that with the right guidance and determination, our graduates can thrive.
